This time in history is a wonderful time to be alive. There has never been more possibilities and opportunities for you to achieve more of your goals than exist today. There are many great moments that are opened to us and we get to decide what we would like to do and this alone can be the critical determinant of what you will accomplish in your lifetime.

How To Face Failure And Rejection To Be Successful

For many of us when we hear the word NO, it can seem like a brick wall 100 feet high, stopping us from our plan of action or the goals that we are advancing too. These two letters can seem like the biggest hurdle and road block in some of our lives.

 In a study of business professionals about their fears and motivations the results are astounding;

• 51 percent said their biggest fear is that the customer will say “no” and reject them.
• 38 percent said the willingness to face rejection is the Number One quality of a great salesperson.

 The impact of Fear Of Failure and Rejection upon individuals and team performance cannot be ignored. Fear is one of the biggest obstacles that anyone in the business world will come up against at one time or another. These Fears come in different packages, but one thing is for sure that all Fear is meant to HOLD YOU BACK to stop you in your tracks, to get you focused on the negative and not the positive. Faith is the opposite of Fear. If you have Faith, then Fear can not be in the same room. An example of this would be…entering a dark room unable to see what is in front of you. As soon as you turn on the light the darkness disappears and you are able to see again. That is Faith….Faith is the light that makes things clear again. It is the light that keeps us focused and sure.

 Change your Beliefs…and you will change your Behavior

 You cannot continue doing, saying and thinking the same way you have been all your life and expect different results. They say that, that is a mark of insanity.

 So we do have to Change, we do have to see Fear for what it is. We have to take a hard look at ourselves to see what is holding you back. If it is training that you need….then find a mentor to train you, someone who has achieved that goal. If it is a skill that you need to learn, then invest the time it will take to learn it. If it is your own thinking patterns then find a way to replace the old tapes running through your head with a new one, so that you can move into the Greatness that is waiting for you.

 Yes Failure is a stepping stone to the success that we desire and we need the Courage to fight through the feelings and thoughts that run ramped through our minds and emotions. Courage is like a muscle that needs to be worked, it is like the fuel to propel you forward. But like a muscle it needs to be developed and strengthened and that comes through exercise.

 Seeing and Recognizing Fear when it is staring you in the face and then taking the right action against it, is the way to develop the muscle of Courage. Every time you take the right action your courage gets stronger and stronger while on the other hand if you don’t address the problems face to face then your courage muscle will begin to shrink.

 We have the choice set before us, we can Breakthrough or stay the same. I have chosen to not be held back, what is your choice??? “NO” is my Green Light to Go…to go forward with my plans, goals, dreams, desires. “NO” is my opportunity to rise above…to face the challenge head on…to see the obstacles as my opportunities for greatness…to test myself beyond my personal limits. My question to you today is “Have you ever felt Locked Out from seeing the success you desire in your MLM business”??????

Most of us can relate to the “Locked Out” feeling. Such as being locked out of your home or car. If you’re like me you will try anything to get the door opened. You continue to giggle the handle, turning it left and right, hoping somehow, someway it will open. Your mind races, trying to remember the last place you had your keys. A sense of urgency comes over you and you will try just about anything to get that door opened.

 You might have to end up calling someone to come and open the door for you, someone with the Expertise and the Knowledge on how to get the door opened without the right key.

 Once the door finally swings open, there’s a sense of relief and even excitement…knowing that you are not locked out or being blocked or denied the right of being where you are supposed to be.

 I’m sure that we can all relate to that scenario in some way or fashion. But I’d like to talk with you about your business, or your MLM business for that matter? If you’re like me you have tried just about anything hoping and wishing that… this door will be opened to you. You have grown in your prospecting skills along with your marketing skills. But for some reason things just don’t seem to be clicking.

 Oh sure you are making money and developing a team under you but it is taking so much time and energy. You believe that once you make it in the top tier of your compensation plan or as a top seller or marketer things will get better. Like they say I’ve been in your shoes. And what I have found is that I was coming at Marketing and Prospecting all wrong. I was locking myself out…out of the growth potential, out of the financial potential and out of the personal potential that was within me.

 Many of you have felt “Locked Out “of the good life that you have envisioned for yourself. After all that is why you started your own business, to achieve the financial freedom, and the time freedom that we all in some way or another desire. Well I just want to encourage you to keep on keeping on. You are on the right road and yes something’s do take some time but the journey is well worth it. YOU are becoming a better person. YOU are developing new skills that are very marketable. YOU are living your life not just letting it run by you. YOU are in the driver’s seat, YOU are in control. Not the circumstances around you BUT YOU!!!!

 Now what unlocks this door… there could be many reasons, so let’s look at a few:

 Your Company: Is it reputable, Is it solid, Is the name recognizable, Do people need the products or services?? Does it have a Global Reach?

 Your Approach: Who are you talking to, Are you in the numbers game, Do you know your averages? Are you developing relationships with your prospects or just dumping on anyone that will listen? (I know that this is hard but I ask because I was that way)

 Your System: Are you getting the training and support that you need, Are you developing you new found skills or just sitting back waiting for it to happen, Are you taking charge of your Destiny or again waiting for others, Are you finding a way to make it happen for you?

 I know that for many the MLM World can be the World of Hard Knocks. It is a time of self discovery. You will find out what you are made of, do you have the Tenacity and the Perseverance to see it through to the end result?

 I want to tell you that YOU do have what it takes. You can develop the skills needed. You are an average person with the ability within to make an above average income and support your family in a life that is well deserved.

We all have gotten into the MLM Business or Small Business Ownership for a variety of reasons, some stronger than others but no doubt as important. We have started out with a hope for the future and an excitement that we are finally in control of our lives. The work and the new concepts can become a bit overwhelming; we are beginning to wonder if we made the right decision.

 The fist step is to know and to settle inside yourself…that if you’re going to find the seeds of greatness that are inside of you, you need to be the best that you can be right where you are starting. Give yourself the time to learn and grow as a new business owner. You will have to be willing to take on risks and to step out in faith.

 A dream is something on the inside of you that doesn’t go away with time, and if this something keeps recurring and coming up in your mind then you have to at some point or another acknowledge it and say that your going to step out and do something about it and follow your heart.

 Following Our Dream… Of Owning Our Own Business really has a lot to do with Freedom and Control. Freedom and Control over your own Life and our own Time. We all know that our Time is our most valuable asset.

 But seeing the final product of our dream when we are just starting out can seem like a life long journey. And really it is… But it is a journey that is well worth the trip. You will become a better person, a more focused business owner and much more confident.

 So where to begin…well first believe that your dream and your goals do have value. And that you do have what it takes to get the job done. This dream in you, this company that you own, this MLM opportunity that you invested in is not just a coincident or a matter of luck. You do have something to offer the world around you…you are a vital part…you do make a difference in peoples lives… and people need you…so stay focused on your WHY.

Entrepreneurs have an ability within themselves, a knowing that they can accomplish anything that they put their minds too. Most people in society have a settling mindset; they accept what life deals out to them and feel like they have no control over it. Entrepreneurs on the other hand, have an ability to see the obstacle in front of them as an Opportunity to accomplish something great. This is a Major Life-Changing Mindset.

 We all face problems and obstacles in this journey called life. How we deal with them will distinguish us between the winners and the losers. We have the choice… we can become Better or we can become Bitter. The choice is ours.

 Another aspect that I feel is very important in the business world is the ability to fight off the Negative Thoughts that run ramped in our mind. This is not something that can be won overnight. I feel like it can be a life long process with some and others it will be a bit easier. We have all met people that either sees the cup half full or half empty. Most people will fall into one or the other category. But we all deal with these thoughts from time to time… we cant do this…we are going to fail…why try it wont work out anyways…why you…you have nothing of value to offer…who would want to listen to you…the list can go on and on.

 There are many book about this subject and if you deal with this more than you feel is right or you want to better yourself, I would suggest that you search them out.

 We all have a Right and the Opportunities right in front of us…lets take charge and keep the right mindset to be the successful business owners, don’t give up and give in…Fight For What You Want In Life and For Your Dreams…Its been said….If it’s going to be…It’s up to me. Make it a great ride.

Today I want to talk to you about a concept that is running ramped on the web, the Small Business world, Home-Based Business Empire and in the MLM Industry. It is “Attraction Marketing”.  Simply put Attraction Marketing is the process of drawing people to YOU. It is not a “think it and it will happen” type of thing; it is a system and a process that one goes through to become Attracting.

 Many of us whether in the Small Business World or the Multi-Level-Marketing industry might have a hard time grasping this, but we are all marketing ourselves everyday, knowingly or unknowingly. So I want to encourage you to become aware of your Marketing Processes.

 Attraction Marketing is the ability to Brand Yourself, the ability to draw people to you and what you offer the marketplace or the world. In the Small Business arena or the MLM industry we all have a product or service to sell. Well Attraction Marketing is the ability to SELL YOURSELF.

 To get us thinking I want to ask you to ask yourself these questions:

•  If you were a stock option or an investment would you be a worthwhile investment for others???
•  Is what you have to offer of value??? Now we are talking about YOU not your product or service.

People want to work with someone or a group that can help them get to where they want to go and if you can display this quality through the content, services or product that you provide, then naturally people will be attracted to working with you.

 The flow of the economy, our specialty products, our services that meet the needs of our customers will evolve and be in a constant state of change. With this constant change also comes uncertainty. But the one element that is constant in all of this upheaval…. is YOU. Yes you will change and grow as you develop yourself into a Leader and Master of your Trade. You will evolve into the person that your truly desire to be… that makes a difference in the world, but all of this will only happen as you develop the talents, thinking and actions that will produce the results that you are desiring. With this idea we can all agree…. that we are all responsible for our own lives and you and I are where we are today because of the choices, habits, thinking process and actions that we have made in the past.

 All of us in some way or fashion ask ourselves “Why am I here” “What is my Purpose in this life”. Yes I have asked this myself and I had to take some time to discover my purpose and what I believe is my Destiny. I want to know that I have made a Difference in people’s lives and in the world around me. I want to know that I can help people Re-Store their Hope, I can help peole Re-Energize their Dreams, and I want to know that I am helping people Re-Build their Dignity that they might have lost in these uncertain times. That I am standing for something Great. I want to know that I was created for such a time as this.

 So as you begin your journey of self discovery, your journey of becoming a worthwhile investment for others, a person…. not just a business… that has value, that has worth, that takes on the issues of promoting and developing your own brand. We all know that Market Research is one of the primary elements to starting any business. Market Research is like sticking your toe into a lake before jumping in. It helps you get the feel of the waters.

When you figure out exactly which group of people you want to reach, and what their needs are, you avoid wasting both time and money. Once you know, you can focus and alter your product or services to fit the needs of your target market. Then you will be able to craft your message to reflect your business and services to your customers.

This process does take some time, but if handled well it will save you many headaches in the not so distant future. Market Research does not need to be costly by consulting surveys or focus groups. You can simple begin by asking the right questions to your faithful customers and also yourself.

To determine if the niche is right for you begin by asking these questions:

• Do I have an identifiable target population with similar interests and needs?
• Is the market large enough to support my business?
• Can I tailor my products, services, and business identity to address that market’s particular needs?
• Is my target market currently underserved?
• Can I reach my potential customers in a cost-effective manner?

I encourage you to take the time to set the goals and focus of your Marketing Strategy. This can be an overwhelming process for someone just starting out in a business or for the business owner that wants to re-align their business model.

 Some might think that the narrowing of their focus or marketing strategy to a defined niche will be cutting into their profit margins and eliminating many potential customers. But the truth is that a well defined niche marketing strategy can become one of the components that will give your business the power and drive that it needs.

The MLM industry is booming today. With more and more people having to find another way to make ends meet, they are looking for a work-at-home solution to the many problems they face.

First let me say, that in talking to a good friend of mine recently, he said something that made so much sense to me. That most people are failing in the MLM industry not for lack of trying and putting into practice all that they are learning, or because they have a hard personality and can not relate to people but mostly it is because of the lack of INFLUENCE in their part of the world.  Think about that….the people that make it big in the MLM companies most likely have a huge sphere of INFLUENCE already, or a huge network of people that they have already built a relationship with and people trust them. So of course it is easy for them to share their opportunity with them because these people trust them already.

But with most of us, for whatever reason we were not that lucky, we are the average type of people that lead quiet lives and so when we try to build new relationship with people while also trying to build trust and present ourselves as a leader at the same time, this can make our success rate a little dismal.

Now while we proceed this way our success is possible, thought it will take some time, and that is not what most of us have?

Building our business online can be as easy as becoming involved in the Social Media Network Arena. These site….Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, Twitter to name a few are wonderful avenues to begin your process of meeting people that you would otherwise never have met in person. Most importantly… it is Global, allowing you access to people from all around the world. Not just in your own backyard. Can you see the potential to your business ????

So if you feel like you have tried it all and you are not seeing the results that you are looking for, take my advice and begin to develop your Sphere of Influence, begin to build you a network of people that will trust you and believe that you have their good fortune in mind. Maybe I’m just that way, but what I have learned is that I don’t have all the answers and that I do need people to give me advice and instructions especially in this industry. If they are of great quality and character you will want to work closely with them, to rub shoulders, and learn the ropes, the terminology, the mannerism and the confidence that you will need from this day forward.

You found that they really listened to you and they were very interested in all that you had to say. This alone is a skill that most of us need to develop over time. It is the skill of Active Listening. Being more interested in another person than in what you are about to say or in what you want to share with them. It is paying attention to there body language and there hand gestures and understanding what they really are not telling you. It is the ability to see the diamond inside of the lump of coal that will be standing or sitting in front of you.

This is where Personal Development comes in, it is the ability to be truthful about who you are and what you want to become. We need constant work on our Attitudes because they allow us to see much of our future. “With the right attitude, human beings can move mountains. With the wrong attitude, they can be crushed by the smallest grain of sand.” Jim Rohn. We all have tremendous potential residing within us; let us learn to tap into our hidden qualities. This can be done by reading inspiring books, reading magazines that focus on Success and any number of ways. It is said that if you Change your Beliefs you will Change your Behavior.
