Affiliate Marketing is quickly developing into one of the number 1 approaches to
making money online. With Affiliate Marketing you will probably have to
discover some new ways of thinking but with a little effort it is totally likely
to reach your objectives and goals.

The awesome thing about Affiliate Marketing is that quickly you will be
able to turn your life around and the lives of others. This suggests that
that even if you are new and never operated online before you will be able to
get started from scratch with.... no brand name.... no internet site..... and not
having to write a single word. This in itself is the most significant draw into the
Affiliate Marketing world.

Nowadays, I am not one that considers all the hard sell and fluff. I want to
hear the realities and get right to the purpose of the project. But I also
know that there are those out there that would like to read all the facts
to come to the right evaluation of the product or service that
they are interested in.

So I will try to get right to the issue, while at the same time be contributing
the essential details that I know that you need know to get a jump start in
your new online business.

For the new fans just getting started, Affiliate Marketing is the most
appropriate way to go. It permits you to labor on your own time while
benefiting from other peoples work and resources. During this time, it
will give you a good assumption on what it is like
to work online and be in an internet based business.

Affiliate Marketing is an “Attaining while Learning” concept. This is why it is very
impressive to most all of us in the online marketing community.

So, lets look at a couple of ideas to keep in mind when you are first starting out:

1.Know your intended prospect.... This is really the digging in period. You will
want to know who you are selling to and what are their needs. In short...giving
people what they want and need to be successful. Many new affiliates slip-up by
trying to sell the wrong product to the wrong prospects. So do yourself a favor and
spend some time investigating....to know your niche market.

2.Know the characteristic of your affiliate products.....This is a big one..
Products and Services are being improved on almost immediately. So you do
need to look at the... Quality of the Products...many offer the “Moon while only
delivering Dirt”. It is always recommended to examine the product first before
recommending it to others. Not only will this improve your credibility and sales, you
will be able to give your new client some detailed and special suggestions about the
product.... which will transform your personal credit standings.

3.READ through the sales letter.....Put yourself in your customer's shoes. Would
you willing to invest your hard earned money from what this cover letter implies?
Does it answer the question that you might have...such as.... what's this product all
about, and what final results might you expect? Also, I would encourage you to
double check for spelling errors, you would not believe how many sales letters I have
spent time reading, only to find many missed spelled words or grammar errors, that
could of easily been corrected. Keep in mind as an Affiliate your name is on this
product or service just like the developers so make sure that you can approve it and
           recommend it.

4.Does the developer have advertising materials for you to use...... Most
affiliate programs supply you with the materials needed for the marketing process.
Since most of these tools are already provided for you, you can then focus your
attention and energies on your chosen marketing activities.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the best ways to begin your online marketing business. It
will get you moving quickly plus will put money in your pocket to achieve the results
that you are striving for. To get going and find out more facts about the “How To's”...
join an Affiliate Marketing Network or Forum that will offer you top quality service
and give you the guidance and knowledge that you will be needing as you
begin your new journey.

Link-bait techniques are gaining momentum. It is becoming the new Buzz Word online. Link-Baiting is being passed around many SEO communities . Though it is not widely used as of yet or even understood, many Search-Engines, Experts and Gurus in the field tend to think of it as an effective way to build the link traffic that we are all so hungry for. It can be used as a technique to gain ranking or a by-product of producing good quality content, either way Link-Baiting is a process that has been around and is gaining the reputation for acquiring top quality leads.

But what is Link-baiting exactly, and how does it fit into the SEO techniques that we hear about today?

Link baiting is the practice of creating useful or compelling content that will lure links naturally to a website. It’s fun, it’s trendy, and it can produce very big search-engine-optimization results. Link baiting is an indirect form of building links.

Mostly….If you are able to write at least interesting content and learn to submit it to good quality sites, with the right sort of fields and to the right readers….You can product a great amount of traffic for your site through your articles.

The days of studying keyword densities and trading links might be a thing of the past some experts say but even still we will all have to develop the ability to write good quality content with words that stand out (Keywords) that our readers are typing in the everyday search engines.

While SEO marketing will evolve into a more interactive branch of conventional marketing. We will find that it will become more inter-graded into the Social Networking scene of the day.

What was once the most effective way to improve rankings…Soliciting links using link-exchanges, Link-Bait is the newer technique in the link-building world. The new social bookmarking sites further leverage and illustrate the power of link bait. Does it have the makings of viral marketing only repackaged in a new silvery package? Something to think about…..

So lets dive into the 5 Amazing Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Link Bait.

  • The Marketing Goal of link bait is to increasing the quantity of external links rather than visits and sales. These links will improve the site’s search-engine rankings and result in increased organic search visits and sales over time. Any direct click through visits or sales driven by the link bait are icing on the cake.
  • Resource Link Bait
A resource is truly useful content or tools that visitors link to for their own future use as well as their readers’ benefit. Successful resources tend to incorporate at least one visual, a video, or some form of interactivity. Resources tend to attract target customers that can convert to traffic and sales as well as links, and tend to strengthen brand recognition. However, creating a great resource requires more research, audience analysis, planning and development than simple hooks.
  • Widgets as Link Bait
Widgets are one of the hottest resource types, because they have a “cool factor.” And, when they provide eye candy and/or value, bloggers love to add them to their navigation channels. Widgets made for bloggers’ use can contain an HTML wrapper with a crawl able link back to the e-commerce site and optimized anchor text.
  • Incentive Link Bait
In link bait terms, incentives are a promise to deliver something special beyond the content on the page, typically in exchange for personal information or promotion of some type. Contests, secret sales, promotional offers, scholarships and awards all work as incentives. The chance of winning something (even something very small) is typically enough to entice a blogger or social network user to link or spread the word for you. For example, household products service Alice.com works small contests and promotions brilliantly via its blog and social profiles. Small campaigns like these can be quickly and easily thrown together or repackaged from other marketing channels.
  • Humor Link Bait
People love to laugh and make others laugh. This hook is deceptively simple, just be funny or give others a forum in which to be funny on your site. Keep in mind, however, that humor varies widely with personal tastes. In addition, management, legal and other internal teams may find humor undignified or too risky for an e-commerce site or a company’s brand.

Link-Baiting is fast becoming the wave of the future. So lets begin to learn how to implement this somewhat newer strategy and develop the content that will draw in the links and attract the customers to our sites.
