One of the primary needs in any Home-Based Business or MLM Business Empire is…..LEADS.

There are so many people out there talking about the how to’s and where you can get these leads. But I don’t want to focus on the calling lists, buying leads, or even holding meetings with the thinking that the people will come.

I want to focus on YOU….YOU can learn how to generate your own leads; it is not that hard, especially if you take your business on-line. You might be asking how…how do I talk to people that really want to talk to me? How do I get people to want to sign up in my business or with my product?? The questions can be endless, But….

We will touch base on a little known fact…People will be drawn to you…as you become the person with the answers to there problems.

One of the ways that I have developed my own list (and this is just one way, there are many out there) is through Article Writing. Article Writing is basically sharing all that I have learned, with the people that are looking for help.

I BRANDED myself; I knew that I needed influence with people. I knew that what I had to share was great, I just needed people that wanted to listen. I knew that the plan and system that I was involved in would expand anyone’s business.

So…. One of the ways that I acquired my FREE Leads is through Article Writing, by sharing the meat and potatoes of what I have walked through.

So here are a couple of Article Writing Basics:

• What kind of Articles will you write about?

o They can be HOW TO’s articles ,
o Reviews of Companies,
o About a Person or a Product,
o MLM Systems,
o Success Principals,
o Internet Marketing,
o Top Tier Programs,
o Prosperity Tips….. This list can go on and on.

• Avoid “Jerk” Marketing….Always Point to the Positive

o Always provide Value
o Always teach others what you have learned
o Praise what people are involved in (always find something good to say)
o Never be Negative or Slam anyone
o Treat others like you would like to be treated

• Ask yourself this question….What are the people… that I am targeting… looking for????

o Then help them find it with the content that you post in your articles
o You answer their question
o You solve their problems

As people begin to trust you and you begin to build a relationship with them, your following will begin to grow.

People will begin to see you as an Expert in the field and they will begin to call you for advice.

My question to you today is “Have you ever felt Locked Out from seeing the success you desire in your MLM business”??????

Most of us can relate to the “Locked Out” feeling. Such as being locked out of your home or car. If you’re like me you will try anything to get the door opened. You continue to giggle the handle, turning it left and right, hoping somehow, someway it will open. Your mind races, trying to remember the last place you had your keys. A sense of urgency comes over you and you will try just about anything to get that door opened.

 You might have to end up calling someone to come and open the door for you, someone with the Expertise and the Knowledge on how to get the door opened without the right key.

 Once the door finally swings open, there’s a sense of relief and even excitement…knowing that you are not locked out or being blocked or denied the right of being where you are supposed to be.

 I’m sure that we can all relate to that scenario in some way or fashion. But I’d like to talk with you about your business, or your MLM business for that matter? If you’re like me you have tried just about anything hoping and wishing that… this door will be opened to you. You have grown in your prospecting skills along with your marketing skills. But for some reason things just don’t seem to be clicking.

 Oh sure you are making money and developing a team under you but it is taking so much time and energy. You believe that once you make it in the top tier of your compensation plan or as a top seller or marketer things will get better. Like they say I’ve been in your shoes. And what I have found is that I was coming at Marketing and Prospecting all wrong. I was locking myself out…out of the growth potential, out of the financial potential and out of the personal potential that was within me.

 Many of you have felt “Locked Out “of the good life that you have envisioned for yourself. After all that is why you started your own business, to achieve the financial freedom, and the time freedom that we all in some way or another desire. Well I just want to encourage you to keep on keeping on. You are on the right road and yes something’s do take some time but the journey is well worth it. YOU are becoming a better person. YOU are developing new skills that are very marketable. YOU are living your life not just letting it run by you. YOU are in the driver’s seat, YOU are in control. Not the circumstances around you BUT YOU!!!!

 Now what unlocks this door… there could be many reasons, so let’s look at a few:

 Your Company: Is it reputable, Is it solid, Is the name recognizable, Do people need the products or services?? Does it have a Global Reach?

 Your Approach: Who are you talking to, Are you in the numbers game, Do you know your averages? Are you developing relationships with your prospects or just dumping on anyone that will listen? (I know that this is hard but I ask because I was that way)

 Your System: Are you getting the training and support that you need, Are you developing you new found skills or just sitting back waiting for it to happen, Are you taking charge of your Destiny or again waiting for others, Are you finding a way to make it happen for you?

 I know that for many the MLM World can be the World of Hard Knocks. It is a time of self discovery. You will find out what you are made of, do you have the Tenacity and the Perseverance to see it through to the end result?

 I want to tell you that YOU do have what it takes. You can develop the skills needed. You are an average person with the ability within to make an above average income and support your family in a life that is well deserved.

The time has come for our MLM business to evolve and change. But with that…. our mindset has to change also. We in this industry have been taught by many leaders that we need to be Duplicatable…. the do as I do thinking. Well I say this is your business… you can follow that if you want but I need to find what will work for me and my personality. I have tried it the old way and it did not work for me. Yes I did get my customers and I also did build a successful business, but I never did reach the monthly residue that I was hoping for. So I began a search…knowing that there had to be a better way.

First let me say, that in talking to a good friend of mine recently, he said something that made so much sense to me. That most people are failing in the MLM industry not for lack of trying and putting into practice all that they are learning, or because they have a hard personality and can not relate to people but mostly it is because of the lack of INFLUENCE in their part of the world.  Think about that….the people that make it big in the MLM companies most likely have a huge sphere of INFLUENCE already, or a huge network of people that they have already built a relationship with and people trust them. So of course it is easy for them to share their opportunity with them because these people trust them already.

But with most of us, for whatever reason we were not that lucky, we are the average type of people that lead quiet lives and so when we try to build new relationship with people while also trying to build trust and present ourselves as a leader at the same time, this can make our success rate a little dismal.

Now while we proceed this way our success is possible, thought it will take some time, and that is not what most of us have?

Building our business online can be as easy as becoming involved in the Social Media Network Arena. These site….Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, Twitter to name a few are wonderful avenues to begin your process of meeting people that you would otherwise never have met in person. Most importantly… it is Global, allowing you access to people from all around the world. Not just in your own backyard. Can you see the potential to your business ????

So if you feel like you have tried it all and you are not seeing the results that you are looking for, take my advice and begin to develop your Sphere of Influence, begin to build you a network of people that will trust you and believe that you have their good fortune in mind. Begin to use the social media sites, not just for keeping in touch with family and friends but also to build your business and your Influence.
