We are all in the selling business in one shape or another. You can think of yourself as a person just trying to get ahead and not the salesman type….But at one time or another we try to get people to see things our way or to come over to our way of thinking…And that in its most basic forms is SELLING.

Most people that you encounter in the Home-Based Business Network or in most MLM Opportunities all have a thing or two in common. Yes they feel that they are taking control of their lives by bettering their future but what I also have found is that most of them have a HOPE in something bigger than themselves.

Their Enthusiasm and a Positive Attitude for the journey that they are embarking on, is part of their driving force.

While having a Positive Attitude, being Enthusiastic, engaging in Hope, and a genuine desire to help others, many in the Home-Based Business or MLM Community forget the fact that….time is needed to develop the skills necessary to achieve the success that they so desperately desire.

We sometimes think that we have it all together but developing the people skills needed to become a success can take some time if it is not in your personality.

Another aspect is the ability to develop the presentation skills and learning to lead with value instead of just jumping in with both feet and not know how deep the water might be.

Most people who fail in their dreams fail not from lack of ability but from lack of commitment.

Develop the skills necessary to be a true professional and a person that people enjoy being around. Develop the skills of putting the other person first and a true desire to help them achieve their dreams. Please just don’t do the lip service thing….we have heard it said…”People don’t care how much you know…till they know how much you care.”

So when you decide to DO whatever it takes to acquire these qualities, you will end up like many others before you. Achieving their dreams and living a true life of freedom.

My question to you today is “Have you ever felt Locked Out from seeing the success you desire in your MLM business”??????

Most of us can relate to the “Locked Out” feeling. Such as being locked out of your home or car. If you’re like me you will try anything to get the door opened. You continue to giggle the handle, turning it left and right, hoping somehow, someway it will open. Your mind races, trying to remember the last place you had your keys. A sense of urgency comes over you and you will try just about anything to get that door opened.

 You might have to end up calling someone to come and open the door for you, someone with the Expertise and the Knowledge on how to get the door opened without the right key.

 Once the door finally swings open, there’s a sense of relief and even excitement…knowing that you are not locked out or being blocked or denied the right of being where you are supposed to be.

 I’m sure that we can all relate to that scenario in some way or fashion. But I’d like to talk with you about your business, or your MLM business for that matter? If you’re like me you have tried just about anything hoping and wishing that… this door will be opened to you. You have grown in your prospecting skills along with your marketing skills. But for some reason things just don’t seem to be clicking.

 Oh sure you are making money and developing a team under you but it is taking so much time and energy. You believe that once you make it in the top tier of your compensation plan or as a top seller or marketer things will get better. Like they say I’ve been in your shoes. And what I have found is that I was coming at Marketing and Prospecting all wrong. I was locking myself out…out of the growth potential, out of the financial potential and out of the personal potential that was within me.

 Many of you have felt “Locked Out “of the good life that you have envisioned for yourself. After all that is why you started your own business, to achieve the financial freedom, and the time freedom that we all in some way or another desire. Well I just want to encourage you to keep on keeping on. You are on the right road and yes something’s do take some time but the journey is well worth it. YOU are becoming a better person. YOU are developing new skills that are very marketable. YOU are living your life not just letting it run by you. YOU are in the driver’s seat, YOU are in control. Not the circumstances around you BUT YOU!!!!

 Now what unlocks this door… there could be many reasons, so let’s look at a few:

 Your Company: Is it reputable, Is it solid, Is the name recognizable, Do people need the products or services?? Does it have a Global Reach?

 Your Approach: Who are you talking to, Are you in the numbers game, Do you know your averages? Are you developing relationships with your prospects or just dumping on anyone that will listen? (I know that this is hard but I ask because I was that way)

 Your System: Are you getting the training and support that you need, Are you developing you new found skills or just sitting back waiting for it to happen, Are you taking charge of your Destiny or again waiting for others, Are you finding a way to make it happen for you?

 I know that for many the MLM World can be the World of Hard Knocks. It is a time of self discovery. You will find out what you are made of, do you have the Tenacity and the Perseverance to see it through to the end result?

 I want to tell you that YOU do have what it takes. You can develop the skills needed. You are an average person with the ability within to make an above average income and support your family in a life that is well deserved.
