With Thanksgiving over and getting back on track with my business, I thought I would share a bit with you on the power of “ACTION”. Most of us know that the word action is an action verb which means to move or movement. So without sounding elementary….”What opportunities are you waiting for…What needs to line up before you take the action needed to move towards your goals and future? What is holding you back? What is pulling you down into the land of “Settling and Waiting”?

I heard a story once and it has stuck with me for years…Its about Crabs….If you have ever been crab fishing…as you catch the crabs and place them into a bucket…they are constantly trying to get out and climb the walls of the bucket. But as more and more crabs are added to the bucket, the larger and stronger crabs are able to climb a bit higher and almost reach the top until another crab who is also trying to get out of the bucket and into his freedom pulls on the higher crab to pull himself up and then they both tumble to the bottom of the bucket only to start all over again. So neither of the crabs reach their destination of freedom.

Isn’t that like us sometimes, we can be like the crabs, clawing our way up the river of life…trying to reach over the top of our bucket. Striving for our freedom…knowing that it is within reach…knowing that it is just on the other side. But the people around us are continually pulling us back down, reminding us that we don’t have what it takes, we have never made it before what makes us think that we can do it know.

I believe that there is something more… born in every person…We all have the power of choice within us. We all have the ability to make our mark, to fulfill our Destiny. We are all programmed that way, it is in our DNA, but we do have to fight for it to be released.

Our Dreams can take some time to appear and in the process of waiting we become tired, worn out, hopeless, discouraged, and the like because time has taken its toll on us.

Nothing in life is free…We have all heard that from the time we were small till today. And nothing…especially Success is easy. It takes work and the power of Action to put the work into forward movement. It’s not the achievement of your dreams that make you a success it is the person that you have become along the way that makes you the successful person.

Albert Einstein…said “Nothing Happens Until Something Moves”

So lets look at a couple of ideas that we can put into practice to begin our journey towards success.

1. All the ideas, preparation, knowledge, and wisdom we can acquire are all essential in our pursuit of our dreams and achievements, BUT…our ideas, preparation, knowledge and wisdom are useless without action, because action is the starting point of ALL progress…

1. “Outside forces” always come into play when one takes action. The bolder the action, the more powerful these outside forces seem to be. It does seem that the more action that one puts into his/her goals, these are the ones achieving their highest aspirations.

1. Action Produces Genius….. Action is the key to the brains ignition. You DO NOT need to be motivated to act! Force yourself to take action, and motivation will follow. Action stimulates both the body and your brain cells. It brings you in contact with surprising things, unexpected events, and incredible people who have the potential to be critical to your success. Take action first, even just to explore your possibilities, and you will be amazed how your creative juices begin to flow.

Most people “wait” to be motivated to then take action… which is why most people are stuck “waiting” for opportunities to come their way. But…. Opportunities never come to those who “wait.” We have to go after them….seeking them out for ourselves….exploring the possibilities….looking at life as a journey. If we never risk….we really never live.

This time in history is a wonderful time to be alive. There has never been more possibilities and opportunities for you to achieve more of your goals than exist today. There are many great moments that are opened to us and we get to decide what we would like to do and this alone can be the critical determinant of what you will accomplish in your lifetime.

Your goal in your network marketing business or any business for that matter is to draw customers to you so that they will invest in your products or services.

Most people subconsciously are attracted to others who distinguish themselves with leadership qualities while portraying a high level of personal value.

If you desire that you want to succeed in network marketing or any other business for that matter, (which I am assuming that you do) you must learn to convey these leadership qualities. While in the process of becoming a leader with value, you are also mastering the art of giving yourself away to others.

Numerous leaders are naturally attractive to us because they radiate the confidence and hope that most people need in the business world today.

Increasing your value to others and taking the initiative to move yourself forward is what is going to set you apart as a great leader and business partner.

Leaders know exactly what they want and focus their energies on achieving their goals. Some of the qualities you will notice in a good leader are:

They offer tremendous amount of value to others

They always radiate positive energy and optimism

They do what the majority of people are unwilling to do

In Mike Dillards book Magnetic Sponsoring…these are some of the concepts that he spends much of his time on because it is the core of what the term “Magnetic Sponsoring” is all about.

The book is not just a how to book…it is a manual about self development. It is about you becoming the leader…that is within you. It’s about doing the hard things to learn and grow…to become the type of person that people are drawn too.

People do not join your business…they join YOU

This book is a must read for anyone in the Network Marketing Business or any Business. It will help you understand the concept of Magnetic Sponsoring but it will also open your eyes to understand why people are attracted to some people and why they inadvertently turn others away.

What underlying message are you portraying to your customers? Do you come across as needy, because your product is not selling that well, or because you have been told NO so many times that it is weighing on your confidence.

We must remember that Belief always comes before Results. Belief leads to certain actions and behavior. Sometimes we have to “just fake it till we make it”

A leader has the vision, courage and willingness to develop themselves through the adversity and challenging times they go through

These new and confident actions and behaviors are going to be awkward in the beginning but as you give them the dedication, time and affirmation, these actions and behaviors will turn you into the type of person you need to be in order to generate the results that you seek.

Challenging your views about yourself and then acting differently can be scary at first, yet wonderfully rewarding. Increasing your value to other, and taking the initiative to move yourself from one group to another is what personal development is all about.

My question to you today is “Have you ever felt Locked Out from seeing the success you desire in your MLM business”??????

Most of us can relate to the “Locked Out” feeling. Such as being locked out of your home or car. If you’re like me you will try anything to get the door opened. You continue to giggle the handle, turning it left and right, hoping somehow, someway it will open. Your mind races, trying to remember the last place you had your keys. A sense of urgency comes over you and you will try just about anything to get that door opened.

 You might have to end up calling someone to come and open the door for you, someone with the Expertise and the Knowledge on how to get the door opened without the right key.

 Once the door finally swings open, there’s a sense of relief and even excitement…knowing that you are not locked out or being blocked or denied the right of being where you are supposed to be.

 I’m sure that we can all relate to that scenario in some way or fashion. But I’d like to talk with you about your business, or your MLM business for that matter? If you’re like me you have tried just about anything hoping and wishing that… this door will be opened to you. You have grown in your prospecting skills along with your marketing skills. But for some reason things just don’t seem to be clicking.

 Oh sure you are making money and developing a team under you but it is taking so much time and energy. You believe that once you make it in the top tier of your compensation plan or as a top seller or marketer things will get better. Like they say I’ve been in your shoes. And what I have found is that I was coming at Marketing and Prospecting all wrong. I was locking myself out…out of the growth potential, out of the financial potential and out of the personal potential that was within me.

 Many of you have felt “Locked Out “of the good life that you have envisioned for yourself. After all that is why you started your own business, to achieve the financial freedom, and the time freedom that we all in some way or another desire. Well I just want to encourage you to keep on keeping on. You are on the right road and yes something’s do take some time but the journey is well worth it. YOU are becoming a better person. YOU are developing new skills that are very marketable. YOU are living your life not just letting it run by you. YOU are in the driver’s seat, YOU are in control. Not the circumstances around you BUT YOU!!!!

 Now what unlocks this door… there could be many reasons, so let’s look at a few:

 Your Company: Is it reputable, Is it solid, Is the name recognizable, Do people need the products or services?? Does it have a Global Reach?

 Your Approach: Who are you talking to, Are you in the numbers game, Do you know your averages? Are you developing relationships with your prospects or just dumping on anyone that will listen? (I know that this is hard but I ask because I was that way)

 Your System: Are you getting the training and support that you need, Are you developing you new found skills or just sitting back waiting for it to happen, Are you taking charge of your Destiny or again waiting for others, Are you finding a way to make it happen for you?

 I know that for many the MLM World can be the World of Hard Knocks. It is a time of self discovery. You will find out what you are made of, do you have the Tenacity and the Perseverance to see it through to the end result?

 I want to tell you that YOU do have what it takes. You can develop the skills needed. You are an average person with the ability within to make an above average income and support your family in a life that is well deserved.

We all have gotten into the MLM Business or Small Business Ownership for a variety of reasons, some stronger than others but no doubt as important. We have started out with a hope for the future and an excitement that we are finally in control of our lives. The work of keeping focused, finding products and pinpointing our marketing can all be a welcomed challenge in the beginning.

 I know, without uncertainty, that we can very distinctly describe that very day that we made the final decision to become a business owner. It was the turning point of our personal and business life. Everything was going to be GREAT !!!!! Things were going to begin to look up again.

 We then begin our new journey and after awhile our focus begins to fade, we begin to struggle with our own thoughts because things don’t seem to be changing as quickly as we had hoped. The work and the new concepts can become a bit overwhelming; we are beginning to wonder if we made the right decision.

 The fist step is to know and to settle inside yourself…that if you’re going to find the seeds of greatness that are inside of you, you need to be the best that you can be right where you are starting. Give yourself the time to learn and grow as a new business owner. You will have to be willing to take on risks and to step out in faith.

 A dream is something on the inside of you that doesn’t go away with time, and if this something keeps recurring and coming up in your mind then you have to at some point or another acknowledge it and say that your going to step out and do something about it and follow your heart.

 Following Our Dream… Of Owning Our Own Business really has a lot to do with Freedom and Control. Freedom and Control over your own Life and our own Time. We all know that our Time is our most valuable asset.

 But seeing the final product of our dream when we are just starting out can seem like a life long journey. And really it is… But it is a journey that is well worth the trip. You will become a better person, a more focused business owner and much more confident.

 So where to begin…well first believe that your dream and your goals do have value. And that you do have what it takes to get the job done. This dream in you, this company that you own, this MLM opportunity that you invested in is not just a coincident or a matter of luck. You do have something to offer the world around you…you are a vital part…you do make a difference in peoples lives… and people need you…so stay focused on your WHY.

Entrepreneurs have an ability within themselves, a knowing that they can accomplish anything that they put their minds too. Most people in society have a settling mindset; they accept what life deals out to them and feel like they have no control over it. Entrepreneurs on the other hand, have an ability to see the obstacle in front of them as an Opportunity to accomplish something great. This is a Major Life-Changing Mindset.

 We all face problems and obstacles in this journey called life. How we deal with them will distinguish us between the winners and the losers. We have the choice… we can become Better or we can become Bitter. The choice is ours.

 Another aspect that I feel is very important in the business world is the ability to fight off the Negative Thoughts that run ramped in our mind. This is not something that can be won overnight. I feel like it can be a life long process with some and others it will be a bit easier. We have all met people that either sees the cup half full or half empty. Most people will fall into one or the other category. But we all deal with these thoughts from time to time… we cant do this…we are going to fail…why try it wont work out anyways…why you…you have nothing of value to offer…who would want to listen to you…the list can go on and on.

 There are many book about this subject and if you deal with this more than you feel is right or you want to better yourself, I would suggest that you search them out.

 We all have a Right and the Opportunities right in front of us…lets take charge and keep the right mindset to be the successful business owners, don’t give up and give in…Fight For What You Want In Life and For Your Dreams…Its been said….If it’s going to be…It’s up to me. Make it a great ride.
